Butterfly Wishes by Alejandro N. Marrero

I send wishes out like colorful butterflies
Giving them wings of love with motes of lights
They’re my gift to all of you
They’re a manifestation of everything that’s true
I send prayers on the wind like breeze
Always hoping we all find our days filled with ease
Where all of us are content and free
Where all of us are truly blessed and at peace
I plant flowers in every direction I go
They’re my offering to everyone on earth
There’s no place too west, east, north or south
That doesn’t benefit from blessings of flowers being around
I send my wishes out on wings of luminescent butterflies
Sometimes they’re granted other times they wait for the right time
Still I send them in your direction and not just for me
I genuinely want for all of us to be free, content and happy
There’s nothing greater than a compassionate heart
If you think there’s no power then just try again and restart
For a kind word is like a cool summer breeze
You’ll find appreciation and people more at ease
I send prayers in the wings of my words
They conquer everything without cuts, sores or swords
It’s because they’re well intended truth be told
Now let’s greet the day and night with tales untold
Stories that make us happy as we grow gracefully both young and old
Stories that were once dreams on butterfly wings behold
Now they’re real and ready for you, not things imagined
Be kind today and you’ll see miracles happen
I send wishes out like rainbow colored butterflies
Nurturing them with wings of love and motes of lights
They’re my precious gifts to all of you
They’re a manifestation of everything that’s kind and true
For it’s a fact I wish everyone well
I’ll send you Angels, just ring the bell
